The past month has been a whirlwind behind the scenes, and while my social media feeds have been quieter than usual, life certainly hasn’t been. Between the fast-paced demands of my work in education and the everyday responsibilities that tend to pile up this time of year, my days have been full from sunrise to sunset. Think: me juggling lesson plans, coffee cups, and to-do lists like a circus performer who did not sign up for the circus. Stepping back was necessary—it gave me the space to refocus, recharge, and handle what mattered most in the moment.

During that time away, I also embraced a few personal adventures—some planned, some spontaneous, some that began with “this will only take an hour” (spoiler: it did not). One of the most meaningful things I’ve been working on quietly is the newest edition of Colorful Moments for a Cause. This year, I’m expanding opportunities for donated and discounted sessions to support individuals and organizations who may not have access to professional photography. It’s a project that fills my heart, and I’m thrilled to bring more color, compassion, and community connection to it—basically my love language, but with cameras.

And now, I’m back—with renewed energy, fresh ideas, and a calendar full of bright adventures on the horizon. New beginnings, creative projects, and plenty of vibrant moments are already in motion, and I can’t wait to share them with you. Thank you for your patience during my quiet season and for sticking around even when my feed was giving “out of office but spiritually still in pajamas.” Here’s to what’s ahead: meaningful work, creative joy, and a whole lot of vibrancy.
